Evening streaks | the northern lights

While enjoying the evening fishing was setting we had chances of seeing the northern lights in kansas.

Parts of the U.S. — including Kansas — could see the Northern Lights this weekend.

The Space Weather Prediction Center says a severe solar storm could trigger colorful auroras as far south as Alabama.

At least five coronal mass ejections have been directed toward Earth. These explosions of plasma and magnetic fields from the sun’s corona create the storm and have the potential to generate the Northern Lights when they arrive sometime Friday evening and overnight.

After the polar passing

it was absolutely spectacular to see the northern lights in my home town, something that most people have to travel across the country to witness!

They came in like streaks or “vertical clouds” i noticed after dark one part of the sky was partially and oddly bright, sure enough i look over and see the lights!!

Id love to travel to one of the poles to see them much more saturated and vivid ദ്ദി ( ᵔ ᴗ ᵔ )
